Something to keep in mind, Titansteel smelting for all those blacksmithing patterns is on a 20 hour cooldown. It's going to take a long while to get your blacksmithing skills to 450, just from lack of available titansteel. I'd make friends with all the miners you know, and grab their cooldowns when they're available :D .

Don't forget miners get +500 health at maximum mining level, making it an interesting and useful profession for pvpers and tanks
